Psionis account deletion
Delete your account.
You can permanently delete your Psionis account inside the app. If you no longer have access to Psionis, you can request deletion by email without reinstalling the app.
Deletion is permanent. Review the outcomes below before continuing.
Delete in the app
The fastest path is inside Psionis.
The app confirms your password and explains exactly what will be removed before completing deletion.
Choose the deletion action
Select Delete account. Household owners also have a separate Delete household option.
Review and confirm
Follow the prompts, enter your current password, and confirm the permanent deletion. A shared-household owner leaving the household must first select a new owner.
What deletion means
The result depends on your household role.
Psionis separates deleting one person's account from deleting the shared household itself.
Your account is removed.
Your Psionis login and household membership are permanently deleted. The household and its shared budget remain available to the other members.
Ownership must be transferred.
Before deleting your account, you must choose another active household member as the new owner. Your account is removed, while the household and shared budget remain.
The household is deleted too.
When no other active member belongs to the household, deleting the owner's account also permanently deletes the household and its associated budget data.
Every household account is removed.
Only the current owner can delete the entire household. This permanently removes the household, all member Psionis accounts, and the shared budget data. This cannot be undone.
No access to the app?
Request deletion by email.
Email Psionis support from the email address associated with your account. Tell us whether you want to delete only your own account or—if you are the household owner—the entire household.

What is removed.
Account deletion removes the account record and authentication access associated with the request. What happens to budget data depends on whether the shared household remains.
When a household is deleted
The deletion includes household-linked information such as:
- Member accounts and household roles
- Categories, folders, allocation rules, and balances
- Transactions, transfers, and reconciliation records
- Paycheck amounts and distribution history
- Pending household invitations
Limited retention
Limited security, support, transaction-integrity, or legal records may be retained when reasonably necessary. Temporary residual copies may also remain in routine backups and logs until they are overwritten under normal retention schedules. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
